Welcome to the Beaver Lake, Ontario Website.
Beaver Lake, Ontario is a small community off of HWY 17, 12 min. East of Nairn Centre and 40 min. West of the City of Greater Sudbury. We are a small community with humble beginnings. When Finnish Pioneers worked on the CPR in the late 1800s, many settled in this area.
Every year, we host many events such as Juhannus; the celebration of Summer, or the Spring Craft Sale, or the Fall Fair, and
the ever popular Winter Carnival.
We are known for our amazing Finnish Pancakes, grilled to perfection and made with our secret recipe. (They are much better
than the Nairn imitations!)
Throughout the pages of this website (in a weblog format) you will see all the wonderful things about our community and the ongoing battle with the City of Greater Sudbury for better service.
